How much do panhandlers really make? Can you possibly make a living at this? How much of a difference does a funny sign make? Will people give to a guy in a banana suit? Does every sign have to say "God Bless?" Important questions. I aim to find the answers. Give me a dollar. God Bless.

Funding The Film

Now that the trailer's been up for awhile and being linked and e-mailed around, we are getting funding to finish the film, and in an exciting DIY kind of way. Instead of some big money corporations throwing giant checks at us, which we're totally cool with by the way, we've been getting smaller donations from real folks.
We will list all donors on the website and donors above $250 will be named in the credits of the film. I wish we could list everyone, but the credits would end up being longer than the film itself.
If you want to do $500 or more get a hold of us about a special package.
Use the guide below to help you plan you're giving. The donate buttons are hard to miss, and please specify that you're funding the movie or I'll spend the money on tea and vegan carrot cake.

$1 or less
- I need to make a phone call about a job. God Bless.

- Why lie I need a beer? God Bless.

- I just got out of jail and am trying to get bus fare so I can go back to my home town. God Bless

$10.01-$50- Can I wash your windshield? God Bless.

$50.01 and up- I don’t usually do this but, my car is out of gas and/or broken down or just around the corner. God Bless.

$250.00- Vet, family to feed, God Bless.

We're currently editing, and planning a trip to Oregon to interview some panhandler in Portland. If we get enough funding we'd also like to hit Atlanta Georgia which has uber-strict panhandling laws. Thanks again to all for the support you've shown.

And, hey, filmmakings great an all, but a couple of bucks to buy me a chamomile tea would also be greatly appreciated, God Bless.
